I've noticed that being a stand-up guy has never been your forte on this board. But I've noticed that that is what usually happens when you are dealing with someone such as yourself that is a "noob" and suffers from such a poor knowledge base. In order to sound "important" and relevant, they point fingers at others, play Sheriff of the message board, get involved in spinning "conspiracy" theories with the paranoia that overwhelms them, or wind-up doing "play by play" of every little squiggle in the stock price. Good Luck to You.

So if we look at the rate of return from an investment standpoint on KKR with the dividends alone today you would be getting a little over 8.6% given that the dividend pays out 1.64/share and KKR is currently trading at 19.48. If KKR bid appproximately $5B on Kodak that would take care of the outstanding debt (2.8B KPP + 1.9B Unsecured + 300M Secured). What is Kodak's expected return each year if I am conservative maybe $500M with potential for more. That is a 10% (conservative) annual return on this investment which is pretty good and no more debt on the books. The question I have is how can Kodak help KKR's other companies in a synergistic way?

My funds are all tied up in AAMRQ at the moment. So proably not, but we'll see- there is still time. Kodak has not announced an official effective date yet.

KB, I think they are better off letting DI/PI go to off load the 2.8B debit on the book. without the 2.8B... instead of 4B buyout, you have a 1.2B buyout... which is a hell of a deal!!! correction 2.2B buyout with 1.1B cash in the bank
