arctic is back and reminding us that he warned us of many of the events that have unfolded.
At this point DO NOT FOCUS on arctic. Review the Court's rulings that are about to unfold . Then make your own decision .
There are many good people who have been and are on this board .
The time will come when we ask ourselves what have we learned from this effort . More importantly, how can we use what we learned to profit in the future.
I ask each of you - are your pockets depleted ? Well it might be time to start filling them back up ! I recommend reading the book " The Richest Man in Babylon " by George Samuel Clason as a start .
Perhaps in the future , we may use this forum in a more profitable effort .
Honor to all !

Thanks for providing a voice of reason and clarity. I get a little carries away here when people refuse to see the truth and engage only in personal attacks and moot issues. I'll tone down now.

Are you suggesting that we stay away from corruption in the future, or just get on the "right side" of corruption?

" Marriott.... Are you suggesting that we stay away from corruption in the future, or just get on the "right side" of corruption? "
lf:
What I am saying is that " fairness " has nothing to do with a bankruptcy filing . Whether shareholders deserve a piece of the bankruptcy pie is totally dependent on the creditors being paid in full . Not a position of strength.
You mentioned corruption . In business, I prefer to say understand what people will want in the future and align yourself with companies or individuals who are able to profitable satisfy that demand.

Bottom line: There are a lot "easier" ways to make money in the stock market. Getting involved in BK'd companies is not one of them.
Let's face it, many here were intrigued in the value of what the DI Patents would be worth when auctioned off. Like Pro, they were not ready for a Bankruptcy scenario. They were simply involved in shares of Kodak because of the "Billions" that the DI Patents were believed to be worth, given auctions by Nortel, etc.
Once "trapped" in the shares of Kodak, people continued to "average" down believing that there was good VALUE in Kodak . So instead of only being invested because of the DI Patent portfolio, it became an investment based on a a TURNAROUND situation. A situation and process that was above the pay-grade of many here, given the demands of forensic accounting and bankruptcy law and the process.
Two Cardinal Rules of trading and/or investing in the stock market:
1.) When the reason you bought no longer exists, get out. (ie. DI Patents not going for the Billions that everyone thought they were worth)
2.) Do not "average" down simply because shares are getting cheap. (averaging down killed more people than Hitler)

Unfortunately, your comment does not cover up your own insecurities and will not make you feel better about yourself. I hope you find a better way to ease your pain .

As someone that has watched this unfold from the inside, this is sound advice. Even though Arctic comes on strong, he is essentially correct. Just because you don't agree with him, that doesn't make him wrong. Given the judge's rulings and opinions, this is a done deal. However you want to spin that, that's OK.

Someone gets it. Investing vs. gambling. Using your head to make a business decision not your heart or gut. When the facts change, change your plan.

Going to a casino is one thing.
You know the slots pay 97%.
You know the odds in blackjack or craps.
You pay the house to play.
But who goes to a rigged casino?
When you know the slots are fixed.
When you know the dealer has set the deck.
You may go to a casino but you won't go to one you know is fixed.
When our markets are rigged they begin to collapse.
That there is called science.

I grew consumed and got myself out of balance and needed rest immediately. I became convinced the fraud would continue. I was able to forgo going to court knowing the game is still in play and having ample time to retaliate. I am not there today but remain dedicated to the fight ahead. Being here 2 yrs already I am well prepared to continue many more.
