Some azzhole on this board just said Kodak is losing money hand over fist.
So riddle me this:
Kodak had 800 mill in the bank when it entered BK.
It now it has 1.1 billion.
We've paid a billion in fees.
Where did this money come from?
Make sure to think before you answer this Artic, as I suspect your answer and I am baiting you.

Without the fee's we are @ 2.1 billion in bank with all assets in hand.
Begin.

It was all that silver that Kodak has been hoarding in its top secret vault that leads to the 5th dimension. Geeze Kevin you are a f'king joke.

This is a very good point Kevin. If Kodak were to continue this conservative growth, is it not possible to pay off creditors in time? Who said these guys need to be paid tomorrow? Cut a deal already and get paid in full.

Before you digress. Without the fee's we are @ 2.1 billion in bank with all assets in hand. Begin. Wrong. The consultant fees were not $1 billion as it is commonly mentioned here. A large portion of the costs were actually restructuring charges. As for the ins and outs of the cash flow and cash reserve... All the major items are well documented in the SEC filings and POR. Get off your fat lazy ass and add the income from the digital patent sale, the DIP, the shutterfly deals... etc it all adds up. But it would be too much to ask for someone like you to do basic arithmetic. Here is something that suits you better... TO DA MOON!!!

Did I miss where scrap silver is accounted for? Your only listing assets and weakening your cause. Show me the bleeding you speak of.

Maybe you can't you even understand what I am saying.
Take away the bk.

There was plenty to continue payments to creditors.

You dumb ass. Take away the chapter 11 then you won't have the $900+ mil from DIP. Take away the chapter 11 then you won't even have the $500+ mils from patent sale. Take away the chapter 11 then you won't have the reorganization and Kodak would have bled more red ink in the past 18 months. Take away the chapter 11 and Kodak will still be on the hook for billions in pension and legacy healthcare cost. You are f'king tard just like Kenny. KKR much? Buyout?

your are right.
take away the chap 11 - we don't have dip
take away chap 11 - we don't have patent sale
take away chap 11 and we still could have gotten out of manufacturing the cameras and laid as many people off as we wanted
take away the chap 11 and you can continue pension payments and renegotiate healthcare instead of giving up 2 profitable divisions
and you would then have your billion in fee's to add to your cash
you still own all your patents and the gallery and the 2 profitable divisions
and the entire company
the bleeding you describe is made by the pen and decision.

Just when I thought that Perez was the dumbest person on earth to be running Kodak into the ground. Sounds like you would have done a even more spectacular job. No wonder you are the resident mental midget here. Perez got this company into chapter 11. Kodak would be in chapter 7 if it followed your plan. KKR much? Where is the buyout Kevin? Stop smoking that shit. It's killing your brain cells.

take away the chapt 11 and you have the 800 mill in bank pre bk plus 1 bill in fees, no?
they needed the billion in fee's to make this even look plausible
who was it that needed immediate payment anyway?
the billion in fee's would have gone a long way in nullifying those ongoing concerns while still maintaining all of the assets
even then, should you need more, nothing would have prevented selling any asset
even if you sold the patents and gallery because you don't need them as an ongoing concern
you'd still have the 2 profitable divisions

I know I'm dumb.
I can't see the bleeding you speak of.
We don't manufacture cameras and consumers printers anymore.
That's where the loss was idiot.
Now we get to avoid the expense and make ROYALTIES.
Get yer head outta 2011.

What I can't seem to gather is if today is the day for cancelation of shares, why isn't there 100's of millions of shares being exchanged. There are about 280 million shares out there and how many shares exchanged last week and this week? I don't think 280 million. So who is holding out that many shares down to the wire?
