I think that is why they released that PR, to show the additional monetization of the other products, so they can sell for more money.

The Kiosk deal to print books has huge implications and potential profits. This could affect Amazon.
It cannot be easy to put something like Kiosk up for sale. Is there something greater to be gained than the immediate infusion of cash? Would Kodak continue to provide the printers?
On another note, are any of the printers manufactured or assembled in part in the US?

if we had aggressive management they would have approached amazon and cut a deal with them. After the deal, Amazon will be interested in purchasing the kiosks and then Kodak can demand its price. there are 100,000 kiosks in the US and around the world. They can sell millions of books every month. Kodak would save the shipping cost and charge around 5-10 dollars per book. This is 10's of million of monthly revenues. "According to Nielsen BookScan, the publishing industry standard for book sales data, book sales are pretty healthy, with one significant proviso which I'll come to. Ten years ago in 2001, 162m books were sold in Britain. Ten years later – a decade in which the internet bloomed, online gaming exploded, television channels proliferated, digital piracy rampaged and, latterly, recession gloomed – 229m books sold. So, a 42% increase in the number of books sold over the last 10 years." << THIS IS THE UK ONLY This is more than the number of Iphones !!! www.guardian.co.uk/books/2011/aug/30/death-books-exaggerated

So will Kodak continue to manufacture Kiosk printers or are they considered to be part of the consumer division that is going to be sold?
