Either we're going to be rich tonight...
Or very rich by default (buyout) tomorrow?
If my facts are wrong please tell me, I value your input and would hate to be deluding myself falsely.
Is there a scenario where another extension could be granted at this late hour? Is there a precedent for such a late call.
Thanks all.

Be happy if you have anything when this is over.....

Mike,
I would imagine IF kodak was headed towards a buyout the announcement would not be made tomorrow as it would likely require more time. However, soon this news would leak and certain sources would talk to media because there would be no gag order preventing the communications. A buyout could be just what the doctor ordered.

If we want to talk about buyout rumors, I'd vote for Canon (Ricoh). Ricoh has a lock on the data center and direct mail printing with their InfoPrint line they acquired from IBM several years ago. If they want to expand into packaging, they will need something like the S-10 modules. Personally, HP would probably be a better fit, but they just release modules, and they are trying to get away from printing in the long term.
Plus Ricoh was a rumored suitor earlier this year within Kodak.

If some of these companies are looking at Kodak and see a potential future rival because of Prosper of because of packaging or the kiosks, this adds another wrinkle irrelevant of the patents.
