Well, it shouldn't take three whole documents to adjourn to a later date, should it?

link to this document "queue"?
Too bad Kodak never upgraded past the 1992 scanners...I can just picture some schmuck at Kodak tower looking out over post-Industrial Rochester waiting for the patent docs to load...

And...the documents are now there. They don't look important - you may see differently.

NO, not at all. That's Kid's job. Being the negative force that he's been.

It's to bad our National Security isn't like the lock down this court room has on information. Maybe we will have to wait till New Year's day. Just my humor after having been jerked around so many times while waiting for information one way or the other about the sale or not the sale of the patents. Right now I would like to know about the sale of the business units. I already had one heart attack and survived and will survive this jerk around.

>>>"Right now I would like to know about the sale of the business units."<<<
The 3 businesses are relatively easy to fix a RANGE of EBITDA multiples, since we already know the appx. EBITDA $ amounts.
1)Photofinishing:
with Kodak name should be between 6 and 10 times EBITDA: Regardless of how the image is captured, if people want wedding pictures or professionally produced pictures, then must use paper and ink/chemicals. Appx. $700 million in revenues with $70 million in EBITDA.
2) KIOSK appx. $400 million in revenues with EBITDA of $40 million. With the Kodak name attached this business also sell for between 6 and 10 times EBITDA.
3) Scanner and software: With appx. $430 million in revenues and $70 million of EBITDA This business should sell for 8 to 12 times EBITDA Higher margin businesses with software generally sell for a higher multiple than old economy businesses.

Thank you Pro. Your analysis is excellent as usual. I just can't understand why the PPS hasn't at least got a little pump from this information. I agree with you this will be a case study for students to study in college in the future. For it's a huge study of turning a company aroud with all kind of challenges. What realy bothers me is that we have so many bashers who are un American and don't care about American manufacturing making a come back in the U.S.A. I come from a manufacturing background and loved to see products made and steady enployment for all kinds of people in the company where I worked. Apple is at a war with Kodak but they make there products over seas. Then China can lend us money to push us further in the hole because of the tax spend-Borrow and elect politicians. Ask the telecoms how they like how Apple over charges them for there phones? Apple rather steal patents then let there lawyers use every trick in the book as they are doing with Kodak to delay-delay-delay paying up.
