final sales announcement definitely has to be a week after auction result announcement, right?

The point of the post was that the hearing on the 19th is still there, and has not been changed.
So he thinks we will get an announcement.

Follow along...
From Docket 1610 regarding the Bidding Procedures:
""At least seven (7) days prior to the Final Sale Hearing, the Debtors shall serve the Notice of Final Sale Hearing, together with the proposed Final Sale Order and a copy of the Sale Agreements""
It's been an accepted assumption that the same date of the Final Sale Order being served...shall be the date that the announcement is to be made. (and when I say accepted, I mean accepted amongst most of us here).
Follow?

""SBG have you not realized there will be an extension coming after hours? Its obvious""
I'd grant you this, one of the previous times that the new date was reflected on the Honorable Judge Gropper's Calendar took place after close of trading on a date we'd all expected an announcement. So I give us until this evening to know anything.

Even though we are growing impatient, (rightfully so), just remember:
"time is money"
We will see more money with each extension.
However, I'm satisfied with today's amount, how about you guys?

True, all these releases about their new "partnerships" and "projects" just add to the perception that they have amnesia about the patent sale because they want to forget it and cover it up in damage-control mode.
"What can we cook up today to stop the stock from falling? We can't disclose the patent sale
How about a partnership with Lance Armstrong or Lance Bass?
Uh, it's not 1998. They both have been stripped of their medals..."
