I tried to create positive synergy with all the longs, and all it took was positive thinking, yet no one listened. BUT one miserable old human hating, God loathing, egotistical, liar created tremendous turmoil amongst many of you. How is this possible?
So Psalm, evil rules??!!

Arctic has not 1 thing to do with my pessimism.
Its the fact that they are talking to hedge funds.
These guys will not give loans for nothing.
They will use this to get equity.

They will get a loan, with collateral, and I am afraid it will be with shares.
I would prefer other assets, but these deals allot of time they want stock.
If it is convertible bonds that convert at a future date, I am ok with that, as long as it doesn't take out us.
If it is shares now, then maybe add some shares to this issue, as they can add shares and then maybe we face dilution, but are not wiped.
The bottom line, Kodak needs to sell some assets, so maybe they wont need the loan.

Hello GoArmy,
Your thoughts and leadership are definitely on the right track. I suggest that Kodak is a very undervalued stock and all longs relax and enjoy the ride. A huge surprise to the upside is 1 week or more likely up to 6 months away. There are always bumps in the road.
IMO a few of the troops are so concerned about the day to day volatility of Kodak that the understanding of the big picture of enormous profits gets lost. Troops need leadership and I enjoy seeing yours and the other positive posters insight and steady as she goes attitude.
Wherever Kodak gets the money Kodak will be doing it's best for long term profit and value for it's shareholders.
Once the hard facts about the emergence is revealed and the pps starts to rise dramatically many will sell too soon as they will be battle weary. That is human nature. Every fighter needs a plan and needs to stick to it.
I am grateful we are owners of this stock. I will be holding my long position for quite some time because after the war is won........we know what history tells us happens next.
Deny fear and evil any footholds.
Stay STRONG!
the colonel

Thank you for your kind words colonel, I am staying the course as I too believe that the benefits of remaining strong will be worth the short wait. I just hate watching the troops fall apart.

Good posts GoArmy & Colonel.
It is easier for us to understand what is being played out and is necessary in this fight. The large funds and some people here will feed off of fear for their own gains. This board has been invaluable. It would be very difficult for an individual investor to play in this game without the intell provided here. The links and communication capabilities that SBG provided are a godsend. If only there were more boards like this for other stocks.
Kodak seeking a new loan may be a bad omen or it is all a part of the game. Someone may have balked on Kodak's terms and so Kodak just upped the ante. While a buy out may be on the table it seems as if that is the last option that Kodak desires. The idea of securing new financing may be another salvo at the people who think they can punder the spoils of war (+18,000 patents). At least on the surface, Kodak is playing this for the long haul and will do whatever it takes to survive this intact.
Hang in there SBG.
