They say we delete or censor the posts here,. lol!
Not one post regarding Kodak good or bad has EVER been deleted!
Look at what this one tripod guy said:
On a major photography forum the "pro type moderators" censor or delete dialog on threads about Kodak's fate.
Since Kodak is one of their advertisers rational discussion about Kodak's Film division is "cheerleaded" and edited to fit the super positive version they want.
Ie when Kodak mentioned August 23rd that the film division might be sold the Pro guys retorted it was not true. One gets labeled a troll or troublemaker if one tries to discuss the Kodak bankruptcy matter, the patents auction or the film division possible sale. The pro types then posted month old web articles by a Kodak movie division VP saying the film unit was not being sold. Some of these film die hards actually believe that Kodak's bankruptcy is a minor thing and that Kodak's fate is not murky and risky as all heck.
Thus Kodak is like a football team that always looses that has couches that cannot be talked about on some photography web forums. The cheerleaders ie pro type moderators quash dialog and censor threads, or close threads or outright delete them. Thus there are very hared core Kodak fans who deeply resent any rational dialog about Kodaks fate. Perez is their god and the will stay by him if the stock goes to 2 cents of 2 bucks. If it goes to 2 bucks they will call us doubters idiots. If the stock goes to 2 cents they will still cling to Kodaks management as then best folks to run the company.
A real issue that some of us doubters or neutral folks like me ponder is what happens when Perez/Jethro runs out of assets to sell to raise cash?
