I like this part ******************* Cautionary Statement Regarding Common Stock and Other Securities The Company cannot predict what the ultimate value of any of its common stock or other securities may be and it remains too early to determine whether holders of any such securities will receive any distribution in the Debtors’ reorganization. investor.kodak.com/secfiling.cfm?filingid=31235-13-31

Long-term debt 370,117 Other long-term liabilities 281,395 Liabilities subject to compromise 2,916,262 Total Liabilities 4,883,541
what the heck are the liabilities subject to compromise? I don't think this MOR is reflecting the KPP deal...not yet....
Thoughts anyone?

I would think that is just standard disclosure statement.

What ever the reason for the boiler plate which is non specific, Kodak said the stocks would be cancelled and caused the market to crash. It will be interesting to see who qualifies to vote for the POR now that the masses have sold. I am not much of a conspiracy theorist but something smells like a scheme. JMO TV

I am still at a loss as to why we shareholders are only credited with income from US operations. And, I fully understand that Europe is not included in this BK. But please, someone tell me why we are charged with what seems like the whole world of Kodak debt?

Kodak came out with this statement on Tuesday in Doc 3808:
“Kodak is an integrated global operation. Prior to the commencement of these chapter 11 cases, the Debtors recognized that preserving the value of their estates required non-Debtor affiliates to be adequately funded and to conduct operations in the ordinary course of business. In addition, the Debtors recognized that insolvency filings by non-U.S. affiliates under home country laws could jeopardize global operations because of, among other things, Kodak’s liquidity position, difficulties in efficiently pooling cash, the expenses and risks of local proceedings, the absence of reorganization statutes in many jurisdictions, challenges relating to the segregation of assets and liabilities, potential litigation among competing estates and the loss of centralized control over global business operations. Weighing these concerns, in consultation with its post-petition secured lenders and key creditor constituencies, Kodak determined it was important to avoid insolvency filings by non-Debtor affiliates wherever possible.”
It doesnt answer any of our legal or ethical questions, but there it is ...
