In this piece, Warren Buffet says that he would give up half his net worth to keep the internet if it was about to vanish...
...He says he values the stock and other information that is available, that is "invaluable to him", allows him to find hidden stocks, and frees up more time for him to read and do other things.
I agree...the internet has been invaluable in trading this stock.
As noted by others, the information and counsel we have gotten on this message board would have been so expensive and so hard to access that a Warren Buffet in 1980 wouldn't have been able to get all this info...
The internet is truly a powerful tool for information, and then using this information to build fortunes...
Something ole Warren didn't have...
What would his net worth be if he'd had the internet in 1960?
