Its all been said, probably dozens of times Mike.

SBG, if the interest in the message board is any indicator, people are paying attention and getting ready for the big one to blow! I agree with other posters that the wheels are speeding up and we are accelerating towards this "sale" Do you see the sheer number of things that are going to be squared away on the 14th? It is staggering... I have a feeling Kodak may get an extension on exclusivity, but it will be announced that it will be solely to facilitate the transition of Kodak's sale to the "potential purchaser"

I guess it seems to be moving closer to D-Day.
I am hoping that the fear of higher taxes on such a deal with purchase would make them want to get the deal done in 2012 instead of 2013.
When I look at all that Kodak has, and all that she is cutting, makes me really think there is something here that someone will want.
4B NOLs
4.5B revenue
X assets, patents, equipment, brand/s, etc......
I really hope if there is a full sale of the company it is a fair price.

What do you think the minimum Kodak would accept per share for a full buyout SBG?

I would think it is allot more than 1.79 as that is about 1/2 a billion cash value.
I think a fair price is 8-10 billion with everything Kodak has.
There are some major benefits to buying this company, and all of them have been spoken about a 100 times.

8-10 including assuming debt or 8-10 - the debt (i.e. 5-8 Billion)?

8-10 and they assume all outstanding debt, etc....
Then that cash position would be reduced by paying off what they must to come out of 11.
I hope they pay the bear minimum instead of paying off in full.
I like to hold cash, and make payments.

That sounds like a fair number...for all parties involved, and it is still a steal for the acquirer, especially with all the NOLS...
The best part?
$30-$38 share price at this fair buyout price...
Why I've always said my mantra:
"Short-term, long-term, on any timeline or time you'd have to cash out...
Acquiring Kodak now offers the WORST CASE scenario of 50% losses, (and there's practically no way this could happen...
...and UNLIMITED UPSIDE!

Okay , like all the idiotic posts of 5 6 7 8 9 10 plus billion that's coming to Kodak and the PPS trading at 5 6 7 8 9 10 plus ?
There is NOTHING good that has happened to the PPS for the longs !
Still trading off the LOWS .
This is a speculative play with an EXTREMELY shady BOD and CEO .
Nothing that has been said from the patent sales to the division sales to the por to the summary judgement to being OPEN with the shareholders have been good !
PPS sucks ! Still !

Reassess after the 14th...
