I was wondering if you had ever been to the Bier Zelts during the Oktober Fest?
I had a blast there, really enjoyed it!! Best memories are from my years in Germany, miss it, loved it.

No, but it must be Schoen.
Getting an assignment in Germany is the best. What can you say? The Autobahn, beer, travel around Europe, and all the while performing much needed duties. It is something that Arctic will never understand due to his elitist attitude.
Your statement, "Auch das kleine vieh macht grossen mist" was spot on when it comes to Arctic. There is one phrase that comes to mind when addressing the numerous comments he has made, "Dir hat man wohl ins Gehirn geschissen und vergessen umzuruehren." The polite translation of, "Are you totally out of your mind" is far less colorful and descriptive than the alternate meaning.

LOL!!! I hadn't heard that one, but One I would use on the pest is: Du bist von wahnsinn gepeggt!" LOL! A classic. I spent the best years of my life there, residing in a very small farm village outside of Pirmasens, and I can remember hiking through the forest on Sundays, and returning home to the scent of Sunday dinner roasting in the oven. Ahhhh, what a life. The germans were so nice. I learned so much there. There was no racism, the worst name I was called was "schweinehund", not a single person made fun of my accent, and everyone was helpful! Loved it, miss it! And you know something Kott, life WAS NOT HECTIC!

There is much to be said about living in Germany.
Picking Pifferlingen in the woods with the kids to make Jagerschnitzel was priceless.

Ooooo, yes!!! We had deer stew right after we harvested Pfifferling! YUMMY! And the scent of the forest, the earth, the peace, the damned cuckoo early in the morning....yes indeed, priceless!
