The new Kodak is still a smoke and mirrors company. Consider the following:
270 million shares of EKDKQ were cancelled. 500 million shares authorized for issuance, presumably as KODK. Market cap is $9.2 B today. Share price today is $32.70, so were 272 million shares used to determine market cap? 40 million shares of KODK issued to 2nd lien and bondholders. Why 40 million shares? Curious figure. No IPO, therefore, how did they arrive at the 272 million share figure if 500 M are authorized?
Continuing the subterfuge:
Potential NOLs of several billion or more, but ... Old shares cancelled so NOLs likely limited to the last month of losses prior to emergence. Bottom line for revenue is still questionable depending on perspective of glass half full or half empty. EKDKQ message board still active. Why?
The only conclusion that is reasonably certain is that nothing changed when Kodak emerged. They are still in trouble if there are no hidden revenue streams. Kodak is still playing for time and trying to juggle every possible option. If they actually issued significant new stock in an IPO the pps of KODK would probably collapse. If they issue too many shares (greater than 40 M) and pps falls significantly, then market cap plummets and they become a takeover target again.
Right now they are not really trading publicly to any significant degree. The 2nd lien majority holders are standing firm for now. Why?
There are still far more questions that even Kodak cannot answer. Thus, the smoke and mirrors game continues.

EKDKQ message board still active. Why? What is the idiotic obsession with the EKDKQ board still being active? I hope you do realize that neither Kodak nor any of the exchanges controls Yahoo and what it puts up on its stock board. The old GM, Liquidation Motors, still has its ticker and board on Yahoo as well, several years after the shares were cancelled. It must be a conspiracy and those old bag holders are sitting on a pile of gold. Yeah, that's the ticket.
