I don't think so.
I believe in buyout in the next 2-4 weeks. So we will get paid for our shares. This blog is important for those who sold thier shares and is going to form class action.

Dude, you are so delusional it is sad. Buyout? Maybe, but it will be of the current Kodak. Your shares are gone, get over it and seek professional help. Now quick, tell me I'm getting paid so you feel better for your own poor decisions. That's right, the entire world is out to get you, you did absolutely nothing wrong. Due diligence is not in your vocabulary.

Hey Velvet,
the purpose of your posts is so obvious that instead of misleading people you do quite opposite. Now everyone I know in this blog and out of it sure that there is something else behind the scene. Your bosses should have fired you long time ago, but you probably don't claim for good pay off, that is way they keep you as a HALF BRAIN HARTLESS AND SMAMELESS WATCH DOG. I see that you can hadly find another good and honest job...
Now is your turn, go ahead give me at least one smart reason what are you doing here after more than 1 month of stock cancellation. Please think twice (if you can do it even once) before you say anything.

Please think twice (if you can do it even once) before you say anything. The same reason people watch shows like "JackAss" and "Worlds Dumbest", to laugh at your extreme stupidity. Honestly, I though you were simply a troll, but now I think you actually believe the nonsense you spout. Perhaps it is time to change your name to rube1331 instead. It is much more fitting. How about this. How about you explain how someone is going to take over Kodak by buying up the old stock that doesn't exist anymore. Is someone also planning a hostile takeover of old K-Mart as well? I've sure there are millions of shares you can pick up for less than nothing.

Goddie, it is not about me, I could make wrong pick (not this time) but WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?
Ok, I will answer instead of you. You want honest people to feel hopeless and not be united to save their rights.
You bosses want to steal multibillion dollar company and make everyone that it is normal.
You velvet helps them for the money and you have NO IDEA that Karma one day/life will return you all pain that you stupid and miserable person created.
1% does not want people stay united. They use such dirty and non smart people as you (part of us) to get what they want.

You didn't answer the very simple question. Honestly, if you want to sue Kodak and the BOD go ahead. That is your right. But even a favorable outcome will not bring back the old shares or allow a buyout based on old shares. I've asked you repeatedly why you think this is even a remote possibility and you repeatedly dodge the question. At most you can hope for is some payout based on shares in hand at the time Kodak filed for CH11. You penny stock gamblers are not going to get a big payout even if Kodak hid a huge oil reserve under Kodak Park.

My answer is NOLs. Over a $4BL by September 2013. $2.8BL debt to creditors. Positive number $1.2BL. Old shareholders will be paid and company will be private.
Now your turn. WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE DAY AND NIGHT?

WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE DAY AND NIGHT? If someone bough the company, why would old share holders be paid? They are no longer associated with Kodak in any way, shape, or form. If you buy a house at foreclosure and then sell it down the line to a new buyer, does that buyer go back to the pay the previously foreclosed upon homeowner? Honestly, I wonder what universe you live in. You ask why I am here and I told you already. It is for pure entertainment. You could get a graduate thesis out of this board. In fact, I think someone must have already been studying the average Kodak pumper. That probably provided the basis for the study below. US adults are dumber than the average human

NEVER. EVER!
He increased his offer 3 times!
Instead you printed STRONG SELL in your sentiment 18 times from September 04 via September 06 in yahoo board.
OK, I could accept your explanation as mistake, 2 or 3 times, But NOT 18 times!
It seems your bosses keep you hungry to be angry.

Kevin, please say something. You have a bright mind, dont allow 1% to stop your voice. I'm still here buddy. I have nothing to add to these discussions except to say that I do agree that old shares are fugged real nice and proper. Our only chance for some recovery is litigation. The ownership change has already occurred and whatever nol's can be salvaged belong to them. If a buyout does occur it will have no effect on old shares. I regret sharing my theory as I am sure it probably did influence others to hold. I was probably the loudest voice preaching and could have been the only one with a plausible reason to hold. Without me screaming my theories there would have been very little reason to hold. I'm learning to temper my opinions as to not seem so emphatic. Many of those who followed me did so more on my confidence and speaking ability than the theory itself. It was like they needed someone to make them feel better about this decision. In the end those who claimed my friendship had nothing to say to me when the stock was canceled even though they assured me it had nothing to do with the theory and they would remain my friends even if I was wrong. Only a few of the friends I made remain. Life moves on and my total obsession with Kodak has subsided. I am currently enjoying my present endeavors and still stand ready for any push towards litigation or in somehow assisting others who might need support. I still check the boards regularly and anyone wishing contact can still get a hold of me for any reason. Best wishes for all, Kev

Thank you. I see your point but disagree.
85% of new stock is not in the market yet. It will be available for trading in 5-11 months. So technically buyout of old stock is possible, imo.
KKR would never buy new stocks, because it would be to expensive to pay over $100 per share. There are 42Mil shares, and total is going to be $4.2BL. Why I am talking about $100, because otherwise creditors (current owners) would not agree to lose $3.2BL ($2.8BL plus $400MIL). Creditors owned 34MIL shares, so they would be agree to sell company for the price of about $100. Otherwise it must be hostile takeover. It would be insane for KKR to pay over $4BL to get the company.
I believe KKR will buy old shares. It makes sense for KKR and creditors.
