Doggie, have you ever heard of such a thing as short covering of cancelled stock?
by franz_gess • Sep 8, 2013 2:59 AM Flag I have been caught with a short position at the moment the stock was canceled. I owe to buy 2 million shares. My bank is giving me a headache because of that. For accouting purposes regulations in Germany require me to get the shares from somewhere so that the short position is closed out. I am willing to invest a portion of my profit from my Kodak bet for the purpose of straightening out my account. I offer 0,005 $ per share which adds up to 10.000 $ if you can deliver the full 2 million shares. A smaller amount of shares is also ok. The transaction works like an over the couter sales between our banks. My bank transfers the money, your bank transfers the shares. My email: franz_gess@t-online.de

Have you contacted Franz yet? You're obsession is borderline creepy.

Feel unhappy, doggie? If you don't want to talk about Franz, let's talk about another buyer:
ullim4 • Sep 5, 2013 12:23 PM Dear Mishka369, I can buy 326.000 shares via account transfer @ $ 0.003. Your benefit: You can use your trading loss to offset trading gains and so you have a tax benefit. Consider that your shares are worth zero and if you hold them, you cannot even use them for tax pourposes. If you are interested, tell me your e-mail address so we can finalize the deal

Apparently ullim4 doesn't know the US tax code very well.

Delusional much? Yes, you're right and the rest of the world was wrong, but reality doesn't back up you statement in any way, shape, or form. I think that is the very definition of wrong. But keep telling yourself your a smart person, it seems to be working for you so far. Jonesie....you still here bashing a cancelled stock..? Now that IS CREEPY...!

Thank you LF........ I was just about getting ready to holler "Where is the Exit Piont". I am only a fraction of a bag on a modest play. Burned all of my play money on EK. But is still few G's. Def....I've started trading/ flipping a larger portion of my portfolio. I've been forced into these targeted "strikes" just to try to recover from the ass kicking I took here at EK. Sometimes I still feel a little guilty about dashing in and out with a wad of money. Today it was STXS....it was a beautiful swing...! There is more "run" over at RSOL that I'm currently working.... There is a bounce due over at ARIA that I'm working.... These are a couple that I have no long term aspirations towards. I feel a bit like a pimp... Just got my bounce at ARIA....!

Will the unions get 24% AMR's72% or be paid as part (24%) of 7.55Bil debt in AAL stocks?
All coments welcome and apreciated. TIA.....

That is very good LF.... As long as you left enough to enjoy the end of this ride. I do believe it is still a good ride and virtually no chance of derailment. I almost saw the PPS dropping when I started reading the annoucements of profit taking, I seriouly thought of bailing out and this was still on the rapid rise to 13.50. But I am not holding much on this play and can not think of me being not in play. So, I am still holding my meager shares.
Thank you LF for sharing......

Been watching TGICQ lately also. Not much research on it yet though. It spikes rather often from what I have seen. From .30-.70 a share yesterday. As with you guys though I am a little spooked with the higher risked stuff atm. Good to see a few of you guys still tossing ideas around here.

TGICQ is certainly volatile (which is POTENTIAL) ...I just don't like the low volume. Too easy for one trader to crash the stock.

Sold the last of my AAMRQ today. I finally figured that a four bagger was good enough..!! I may jump back in if some strange court decision knocks it backward a couple bucks. This trade really turned things around for my portfolio this year!

This trade really turned things around for my portfolio this year! That is great to hear man. I made out pretty good on the QCOR tip you gave a while back. Although I did sell too early before the big run up back. The EK fiasco has me a little gun shy yo.

There is some low hanging fruit over there right now. Look for a run into the low 70's before earnings.
