I am not sure what the rules of the kodak board are, but as the current kodak situation starts to wind down, who hear would like to discuss other oppertunities that are out there in the market?
I will not post anything if it is not to the liking of the general board, but I figure we can us this board to open our eyes to other stock out there.
Anyone care to start?
Ok will start but this one will be about kodak in general. The SECURED bonds are trading at about 103 a bond. If one was to buy the secureds and it goes forward like the POR states, the secures like get paid something like 114 a bond (at emergence).
Now if they end up getting paid all in cash, its a good deal. But if they end up getting half in cash and 85% of kodak that is a steal. That investment could double in less than a year.

Once the KODAK saga has run its course ( hopefully to the benefit of all stakeholders ) we will revisit your point.

Its already been covered more than once.
This place will eventually be discarded.
I already have a new platform all specced out, and once Kodak is done, I will build new platform on own hosting, and will be a private invite only board.
Not all will get the invite.

SBG I think we all have our ups and downs on this...acknowledging that it has been more downs than ups, unfortunately. I credit the Board of Directors with achieving a successful settling of the UK Pension Debt...at least based on what we believe the deal to be. That said, it is clear that fiduciary duties have not been met. This is based on misleading comments (Antonio Perez stating that the market misunderstood why Kodak filed for bankruptcy, that Kodak was “in the driver’s seat” regarding sale of intellectual property, etc.). There's a ton more, obviously, that most here already know. Simply, there is value in Kodak. With the UK Pension Debt resolved, there is significant business opportunity (e.g. Unpixel) and asset value (both intellectual property and real property) that even on a conservative basis shows positive equity for the organization. To allow cancelation of the existing common shares would be unjust and unnecessary.
