Kodak did appeal the ITC ruling on the validity of '218, correct? Appears this has gotten lost in the wake of other recent news. Seems plausible that the recent Apple v. Samsung decision lends credence to Kodak's appeal. Should Kodak, or future owner of '218, win this appeal, this should find it's way to trial by jury in which Kodak, or current owner, could receive an award exceeding 1 BIL from Apple and co. I honestly believe Samsung, backed by Google, would have the greatest vested interest and should be considered the frontrunner to acquire '218.
This is just one potentially large payday Kodak has in the works and has IMO been largely overshadowed by the pending DI/KISS patent portfolio and Imaging/Film asset sales.

Psalm,
We need a sale now. We cannot wait for the appeal process to run its course. We are running out of time now.

We, unlike kidbondupmyass, will have made a very nice profit and kodak will be a pleasent memory before anything happens to the common.
