Hey Reading a lot of Butt Sniffing comments. I know there is no Kodak news but was hoping to see some reflection on what day it is today.
Today I want to stop and give thanks for the sacrifices of those who have gone before us. May we all be truly thankful and ready if called to follow in their footsteps.
I salute the Police, Firefighters and all the families that have lost loved ones on this anniversary of 9-11.

Reflecting on the events of 11 years ago - and many other life-altering events since then - puts things into better perspective.

I was at the McCorrmick Center in Chicago for PRINT '01 working the Scitex Digital Printing booth when the news came over the wire. Everything just stopped.
When the rumor started about some planes heading for Chicago, there was absolute panic.
Luckily, I had rented a car and drove home. People that did not have cars could not rent them, as they were all gone once the flight grounding was announced.
Took me two days to get home.

Two days? Thats a long time. Where was home at the time? SBG Cincinnati. Normally its about a 6-7 hour drive, but I spent most of the first day stuck in traffic leaving Chicago. I left the booth around Noon. Took about two hours to get to the hotel (normally 10 minutes). Another hour to check out. F-O-R-E-V-E-R at the gas station, and finally ended up getting a room at a Motel 6 on the outskirts of Chicago later that night. Then about a five hour drive home the next day. Un-f-ing believable.
